| Introduction | Hello, my name is David Ferguson, and welcome to my blog! I have been a full-time preacher with the Lake Land Church of Christ in Mattoon, IL since 2003. If you are ever in our area, please stop by and join us in worshipping the Lord! Sunday Bible study is at 9:30 AM with services at 10:30 AM. Sunday evening worship is 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Our mid-week services are held each Wednesday (Tuesday of Thanksgiving week) from 7:00 PM - 8:00 PM. My wife, Carey, and I have been blessed by God with some wonderful children, and one of the greatest joys I have in life is watching them participate in their various activities. So in the midst of the articles inspired by God's word you will find "news reports" of my children. I hope you enjoy reading about them as much as I enjoy writing about them! One last thing: The ads here are just that: ads. I do not endorse any of them for I have little control over what they say. They come from Google.
