| Introduction | Dr. Laxman Rijal represents the group of promising orthoapedic surgeons in Nepal, based in the national capital, Kathmandu. Dr. Rijal obtained his MBBS from Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS), India. He obtained his MS degree in orthopaedics from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), India. Also under his belt are fellowship in hand and upper extremity surgery from India and Singapore. Dr. Rijal has equal interest in academics. He is the most published orthoapedic surgeon from Nepal in various international journals and reviewer to international indexed journals. Recently he has been invited as an editorial board member for international journal of orthoapedics. He has described and patented few surgical procedures in his name. His surgical technique finds a mention in the text book of global repute, campbell operative orthopaedics. |
