| Introduction | My name is Stella Greer. I am 30 years old, and have a stepson, Trent, who is my entire world. My story started just like anyone elses. I went to college, got a job teaching, fell in love, and got married. Around 3 years ago my story took a dramatic turn. I started down the road less traveled, the road of a young widow. On September 28, 2011 I lost my husband to pulmonary embolism. It was the worst day of my life. Not only did I lose my spouse, but I had to tell my son that his daddy had died. I think that was the worst part. The past 2 years have been a time of struggle and recovery for my family and friends. Wes was the kind of guy that everyone knew and loved. You will learn more about him in my blog post. Wes and I had been married 15 months when he passed. We had been together for 4 1/2 years. Now it is just Trent and I. I am so thankful to have Trent in my life. He is the best part of Wes and myself. My only hope for doing this blog is that maybe it will help someone. I am very honest in my blogs, sharing my true feelings. Feel free to share this site. |
