Introduction	I graduated from Valdosta State in 1999 with a B.A. in English and in 2000 with a B.S. in Secondary Education/English. I taught high school English for 6 years in the Atlanta metro area. I worked in the construction industry for 2 years designing tile work for homes throughout metro Atlanta. I completed a Masters in Education with an emphasis on School Library Media from the University of West Georgia in August of 2009. For 3 years, from early 2008 until the fall of 2011, I have been a stay-at-home mom of two. (I was a graduate student during half of that time.) I have 2 precious children. My son, Aiden, is 3, and my daughter, Bayley, is 1. I am returning to work this school year as the Media Specialist at Durham Middle School in Cobb County.
Interests	I LOVE taking care of my home and family (so cliche, but true), decorating, reading, writing, crafting, shopping, watching movies.
Favorite movies	Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, The Grudge, Rosemary's Baby (I bet you think I'm lying, but I LOVE horror movies.)
Favorite music	I love so many types of music including classical, opera, rock, and pop.
Favorite books	Many, many favorites!
