| Introduction | I graduated from Valdosta State in 1999 with a B.A. in English and in 2000 with a B.S. in Secondary Education/English. I taught high school English for 6 years in the Atlanta metro area. I worked in the construction industry for 2 years designing tile work for homes throughout metro Atlanta. I completed a Masters in Education with an emphasis on School Library Media from the University of West Georgia in August of 2009. For 3 years, from early 2008 until the fall of 2011, I have been a stay-at-home mom of two. (I was a graduate student during half of that time.) I have 2 precious children. My son, Aiden, is 3, and my daughter, Bayley, is 1. I am returning to work this school year as the Media Specialist at Durham Middle School in Cobb County. |
