Introduction In the kitchen from age twelve on I have always enjoyed cooking and have never been afraid of trying something new. With two Grandmothers that put up preserves and canned most of their foods I learned from an early age how to do a lot of this stuff. Then one of my first jobs was working in a fine dining restaurant working under the direction of a few good chefs. Two of these chefs were a big influence on me, one being a classicaly trained chef. And the other straight from the hill of Kentucky full of Southern ways and ideas.
