| Introduction | As a small child I would cut up handkerchiefs and make clothes for my barbie, these consisted of wrap skirts, tie tops and minimal hand sewing. Then one day a few months later my father brought me home an old sewing machine. It was a black Pfaff attached to its own desk (for the time it was very old - antique). In the months that followed a designer was created. Needless to say my dolls were the best dressed on the street! I moved from a small country town in the Hunter Valley to study in Sydney, that was in 1996. I started working in the fashion industry when I finished studying and I have worked for many well known brands in the last 14 years which include Katies, Rockmans, Mambo, NRG, Belly Basics, Saucony, KSwiss, Le Coq Sportif, CW-X and Henleys. I currently work for a brand called Netti and I have my own Pyjama label Midnight Romp. |
