| Introduction | John designs and presents professional development seminars for the corporate and academic communities of the Asia-Pacific region. He has presented programs in 18 countries to more than 25,000 participants over the past 20 years. Clients who have benefited from his services include Citibank, Motorola Technology, Thai Airways International, Siemens, and the Kuala Lumpur Stock Exchange. John is certified by the Malaysian Institute of Management and the American Management Association. In addition to having published many articles in professional journals, John writes workbooks for English language courses and is presently compiling a guidebook on business communications for Southeast Asia. He has written regular columns for Malaysia’s leading daily newspapers, including Better Business Communications for The Star and Communicating for Computimes. Currently he writes freelance. Although training facilitation is his profession, drumming is his life-long passion. John’s presents drum circles and rhythm interventions for corporate team building programs and other community-building events. John has lived in Kuala Lumpur since 1986. |
