Introduction | The most important thing in my life is my relationship with Jesus Christ. Because of Him, I have a deep abiding joy that nothing can quench. Even in times of deepest sorrow I am filled with hope and joy for the future. I have a incredible husband who I love more than life itself and two beautiful children who bring me joy every day. I am a total control freak. It's not pretty, but there it is. I love dark chocolate in basically any form, I must have my cup of coffee in the morning and I can't bear to have my thumbs held. Trevor calls them my claustrophobic thumbs! I generally want everything done yesterday (or sooner if possible) and I'm told this is a product of my control freakishness. I am a good cook and I credit this to my mother and my grandmother who are exceptional cooks. I hope to rank up there with them one day in the far off future. |

Favorite Music | I love Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jimi Hendrix. I have to attribute that to my dad and to my Uncle Tellius. I also listen to a lot of Contemporary Christian music on XM Radio, as well as Southern Gospel. |
Favorite Books | I will read anything (fiction or non-fiction) about Elizabeth I of England. OK, let's be honest...I'll read pretty much anything. I love to read...always have. When I was a kid I would read the back of the cereal box just to have something to read while I was eating. My parents soon had to put into effect the "no reading at the table" rule. |
