Introduction	In many ways I see the recession as a good thing- to encourage people to focus more on what matters- caring for one another, making use of what we have, and not buying stuff just because big corporations want us to. "Cheapskate" is a word with negative connotations, but I have no problem spending money on what truly matters. I just try to make the best possible use of my resources so that my family and I can be healthy, happy, and secure.
