Introduction Christine Dennett was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, September 26, 1955. She grew up in an artistic atmosphere, always encouraged to create art. In 1972 She was given a sanskrit name "Kesara" by a Buddhist Monk, Thien Thic An. It means beautiful flower. She adopted Kesara as an art signature to represent her art. In 1974 she participated in the Los Angeles City Wide Mural Project and Olympic International Mask Festival in 1984. When she graduated she attended Cal State Northridge University receiving education by master artists of that time. In 1982 Christine started contracting her illustrations out as Christine "Kesara" Dennett. She has over 300 original illustrations that are published in books and magazines with Simon & Schuster, Shiffer, as a few of the publishers. Her work has been featured on television like the History Channel, TLC, SciFi, and many more. Christine's mixed ethinic background and the turbulent changes within her lifetime presented a pallet of emotional challenges she expressed through art. In the years she created personal series of art work. Each series depicting aspects of her beliefs, experiences, and disciplines in art.
