| Introduction | I am a former teacher turned librarian at a private pre-K-12 school. I coordinate the books for 3 book groups. One of those groups has 44 members all of whom read the books although many are working moms who find it difficult to attend meeting. There are 15 active members who attend each discussion. I prepare and mail out a reading list for home bound persons who read avidly. Once I have read the ARCs I receive they go to two nursing homes, a senior center and an assisted living complex. in my spare time I make and donate "Crumb Catchers" (adult bibs) for the nursing homes and assisted living complex. |
