| Introduction | Welcome to Steel String Blues! My name is Jenn and I have been a huge blues fan ever since I randomly went to a Kenny Wayne Shepherd concert in 1999. I went to find out who his influences were and my life was changed. I went and bought my first guitar a week after that show...which lead me to hanging out at the guitar shop a lot...which lead me to helping the guys book and promote their shows...which has lead me to open my own webstore- Steel String Blues (www.steelstringblues.com) that sells blues vinyl, books, cds, concert art, novelty items, memorabilia and more. This is an extension page of the store. I want a place for blues fans to share info about musicians they love, to find concert dates from around the world and more importantly keep the blues alive and strong. Please let us know about blues musicians that you love, old music and new music you want to share, photographs, memories of shows or why you are moved by certain songs...anything related to the blues. |
