| Introduction | I was born into a primarily agricultural family in a hamlet called Krishnapuram near Bobbili, a town in Vizianagaram district of Andhra Pradesh (AP) in India. After my primary schooling in Krishnapuram, I joined the Samsthanam High School at Bobbili for my further schooling. Subsequent to my graduation in mechanical engineering from the Andhra University College of Enginering in Visakhapatnam (AP), I worked in various capacities with the AP State Electricity Board, Hindustan Aeronautics Ltd., Koraput Division, Union Carbide India Ltd., Bhopal in India and with Ansaldo Impianti at Ras Katenib in North Yemen. While working at Bhopal I attended the Bhopal School of Social- Sciences for my MBA. In 1984, I relocated to Visakhapatnam where I started undertaking works contracts with government departments and continue to do so till date. |
