| Introduction | I write and publish poetry under the name Freda Edis. Over the years, Poetry Review, Northwords, Iota and Envoi have, among other magazines, published my work. I enjoy creative activities and make wirework jewellery, carve netsuke, knit lace, crochet lace, needlepoint lace, work with textiles, produce Hardanger embroidery and make cheese. I play a number of musical instruments and am currently learning the flute, both the Boehm type and the 8-key Baroque flute. |
