| Introduction | I live my interests. I mean, if you don't do the things you are most interested in doing, isn't that insane? The order of my "interests list" has changed over the years, but the content has pretty much stayed the same, and a few things have dropped off, such as "making money" and "influencing society" - things like that. I suppose the reason I'd like to try my hand at writing a blog is as much to organize my own prayer/thought life and discipline in studying the Word as it is in communicating anything amazing to anyone else. That said, I love the idea that someone, anyone, might benefit just a little from what the Lord teaches me, and it's an opportunity to reach out, to start a conversation, to keep track of the one between myself and the Lord as well. And as there's nothing to hide, why not do that publicly. Ok, AND there are times, often (I must admit) lately, that I just feel a strong need to speak my mind on issues musical, political, religious, whatever, and to discuss matters frankly to no one in particular. What a great therapy, I'm thinking, is a blog. We'll see! |
