Introduction	The Kobe Trade Information Office (KTIO) is the U.S. Branch office for the City of Kobe, Japan based in Seattle, Washington. In 1957, the city of Kobe and the city of Seattle formed one of the first sister city relationships,and this office was established in 1962 to promote business, friendship and international exchange between the U.S and Kobe. KTIO’s mission is to provide information for companies and individuals interested in business and travel to Kobe. Here you will find current events information about the City of Kobe in relation to trade, tourism and international exchanges.
