| Introduction | I spread Health & Humor through Harmony every chance I get. Charlie & I lecture on Health & Humor throughout the USA. I have held the esteemed position of "Health and Humor Ambassador" (HaHA) [A NurSING Consultant for Thornberry Ltd.; Homecare Management Software Company; and other health facilities.] A nurse for over 35 years, I am a former Director of Nursing at Community-General Hospital, Syracuse NY. and a Lt.Colonel USAR (Retired). I am founder of the "NurSING Notes" an all RN Barbershop Quartet who spread "Health & Humor through Harmony across the USA for 20 years. We retired the quartet in 2007. I hope we will get back together when the other dummies (I mean nurses) can retire. I am one of the 7 writers of an Nursing Comedy called "Who's Got the Keys?" (sponsored by the "Journal of Nursing Jocularity". It was about the "keys of nursing" and how we learn them & how you can lose them through burn out & how you can get them back. My quartet was a running gag (literally) throughout the play. |
