| Introduction | I am the mother of 3 children. I was happy with how my life had been progressing, with a wonderful husband, three beautiful, happy, and healthy children, I felt like I was on top of the world. Until one day, my life changed, with no warning. We were now caring for a very sick little boy, so frail, so young, with a future that was so unsure. How would we cope during this process? How would it affect our family? How would it affect our marriage? Would he survive? These were all questions I had, that I had no answers to. As I searched for the answers, I found so many resources out there but found that the best resources were parents who are going through or have gone through a similar experience. I wanted to create a blog detailing my experience as the primary caretaker to my son during his illness. I thought it would provide answers for some, give comfort to others, and help those having a difficult time coping. My story is a successful one. I hope whether you are a parent currently undergoing this process, or one that has already gone through it, you will share your thoughts that can help others. I would love to hear your feedback. |
