| Introduction | A.C.T.S : 2 MISSION • Building Catholic Leaders ACTS:2 will host and organise gatherings and forums for Catholic young-adults. There is an open invitation that extends to young-adults as well as for all youth and adult parishioners and visitors. All activities including talks and discussions will always promote and reflect Catholic teachings of the Bible, Catechism and other credible Catholic literature. ACTS:2 will strive to develop skills [to lead] of leadership. The ideal goal is for all participants to be active leaders in their everyday works, in the community, and in the parish of The Good Shepherd Plumpton. • Bringing the Community Together ACTS:2 will actively engage the community; meeting directly the young adults and parishioners it will serve, as well as their parents and friends. ACTS:2 encourages its participants to experience the activities of other Catholic ministries. ACTS:2 will be open to comments, criticisms, and ideas of its many participants which may improve its effectiveness. The team will always be available for contact. The team will strive to model their lives to reflect a life of service that we have humbly committed to. |
