| Introduction | I am Chinese, born in Malaysia, but spent most of my younger childhood years in Brunei and migrated to Australia with my parents in 1989. I intend this blog to record my cooking adventures and a means of keeping a cookbook with pics instead of looseleaf papers hanging out of a notebook without a picture to deem the recipe a success (or failure). Don't mistaken me for a cook (from the blog title), 'cause that I ain't. But what I am, is a mess-maker/wanna-be baker who misses the food of South-East Asia - so the only solution is to either cook it myself (or hopefully some aunty or even mum cook it for me). |
