Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Forks came first - my theory... A fork maker was making a fork when he was interupted for lunch. He hadn't had time to separate the almost flat surface into tines and was so hungry he grabbed the half finished fork and dung into his stew. He was so pleased at the amount of stew he could shovel in that the spoon was born...the rest is history.
