| Introduction | I am a Christian wife and mother of four. We live in the country and enjoy the simple way of life...though often the simple way requires a lot of work! This work is usually welcomed as it brings a beautiful rhythym and purpose to our busy days. We may not get rich in this life we have chosen, but we are rich in the Lord and have wonderful relationships with our children... which is priceless. If that is not enough, my kitchen window view is amazing. No we don't have water front property or anything. I actually look out to an old barn, lots of toys and bikes scattered across the yard, and a shop that needs some time spent organizing. But the people within that view warm my heart on those days that I need a little extra encouragement. On some days I get the priviledge of watching my sweet husband walking hand in hand with one of our children. Other times it is my youngest cheerfully gathering eggs from the hen house. There are many times my heart is warmed as sweet siblings play, making up games and pretending all sorts of things. It is moments like these that keep me grounded to the joys of living simply. |
