| Introduction | A little about me… I’m a mom of two great kid's, one son in College,daughter in her teens. I also have one amazing husband who serves in the US Navy and does his best to provide for the four of us – every single day! We are a typical American family, struggling with finances, budgeting, and the challenges that come with raising children in today’s fast-moving world. My frugal journey started when I decided to stay home and needed a away to offset our lost income. I began blogging to get my spending habits under control. Blogging gave me the courage to try out new behaviors and explore new possibilities. At the same time, it helped me shift my priorities: Family and the simple pleasures in life came to the forefront, and Fast forward ahead: My life has changed in so many positive ways. I have discovered that helping others save money is a whole lot more fun and rewarding than overspending and dealing with debt. I have climbed out of a very deep hole and am learning to be accountable to myself, my family, and now to you too. |
