| Introduction | Mary Catherine Charest — "Queen Bee" Ms. Charest has written for several different publishers as well as newspaper editorials. She also multitasks by tending bees, and planning a self-sufficient lifestyle at her farm in three years. Her interviewees include a number of remarkable people such as Jim Lehrer of PBS fame, Harlan Coben – mystery author, Jeannine Vegh, M.A., M.F.T.I. Author of Absent Hearts, Missing Pieces: The Story of a Survivor, Joanne Zipay, founder, artistic director and education director of NYC’s award-winning Judith Shakespeare Company, Giovannella Stianti Mascheroni, owner of Volpaia Winery in Italy, Randy Gener - New York-based writer and theater critic, and Canadian playwright David Carley in regards to his staged version of Margaret Atwood’s The Edible Woman in Canada. Ms. Charest is a fine artist as well, makes wine and hopes to make mead from some of that fine honey her bees create! Ms. Charest believes in "lending a helping hand" and is heavily lobbying for several Domestic Violence Bills in New Jersey (USA), one of which was introduced in New Jersey Legislature, now has three sponsors, and is finally being considered for passage. |
