Introduction	TamaleyDiva Aka Sylvia Alva an Artist/ Educator. I work out of Que Milagro Studio in Southern Ca. my passionate is creating Mexican folk art with recycle materials. The art I create is my reflection of my Mexican culture through color, texture and using religious and symbolic imagery much of my art is documentation of different stages of my childhood to present. My parents and family have continued to encourage me through my passion of mixed media in the arts.
Interests	Mexican folk art, Roman Catholic items, Mexican food and Native American culture. Addicted to growing and collecting Succulents and Desert Cactus, enjoy growing my own vegetables. Very much into inspiring others using the arts.
Favorite Movies	I like mystery, and old horror movies. mexican classics like wrestling movies of 70's and topics of the mexican revolution with anthony quinn etc. Right now, I'm into kid movies since I teach primary grades.I enjoy talking with my students about what they see and love about a movie they have seen with their families and I love to hear them sing the movies theme songs. Those are such preious years when a child is full of love and laughter and excitment to share and experience of seeing a movie they truly enjoyed.
Favorite Music	Music in my environment are Mexican mariachi. Floricio, Native American traditional, as well as comtempary artists of today. Love hard rock to music from 40's and old and modern jazz.
Favorite Books	I enjoy reading How to books always learning to do a new skill, Art & Craft book total Addicition, Mexican and Native american folktale, History of Mexican, Religious books of saints and angels. Biographies, Lets just say I LOVE, LOVE books could spend hours reading and discovering in bookstores and libraries.
