| Introduction | Hi my name is Mary Brodahl. I was born and raised in California but my parents were from El Salvador. I grew up speaking fluent Spanish and English. We returned to Central America, where I studied for 10 years and earned BA and Masters Degrees in Education. I returned to United States and started teaching. I got married in 1997 and had two wonderful daughters. In addition to being a “soccer mom” I enjoy cooking and gardening. as well as being a member in a book club and a running group. I am really proud to havecompleted my second half marathon this spring. I’ve really enjoyed teaching Spanish at Open Window School for the last eight years and I’m looking forward to another fun and productive year with my current students.
