| Introduction | One of the company's primary goals is centred on the importance of human well-being; the engagement and integration of the regional community to provide the CAPACITY for social development and empowerment of the local Malagasy people. Much of our work is focused on social research and education of fishermen. However we also operate small scale community outreach projects one of which is our dedication to supporting abandoned children. Follow our social development blogspot for news updates and photos on the various projects and involvement we have had locally with two orphanages in Mananjary; Catja and Fanatenane. These centres cater largely for abandoned twins that are considered taboo (bad luck) in rural villages. |
