| Introduction | I always knew that I wanted to be a teacher, so when it was time for college I packed up and went ten hours north to COLD St. Paul, Minnesota. I graduated with my degree in Elementary Education from Northwestern College in 1997. I have been teaching since 1997. When I moved back to the area in 2008, I accepted a job at Hesston teaching 1st grade after 6 years of teaching Kindergarten in Ulysses, Kansas. In 2012, I switched to 3rd grade at Hesston and am loving it!! |
| Interests | I love spending time with all my boys! (I am the only girl in a house FULL of boys. :) I enjoy playing flute, although I don't get to do that as much as I used to. I am trying to keep up on my kiddo's scrapbooks. Which is usually fun, but when I'm behind it's stressful! lol! I LOVE to read! |
| Favorite Books | How can I even pick a favorite book?! I am currently working on reading all the Newbery Award books. I love mystery and detective stories. It is my goal to have my students love reading as much as I do! |
