| Introduction | I began teaching in 1974 in the Philadelphia School System. I love what I do and try to do the best for my students each year. Some years are better than others. I aim to incorporate music within the school day since we don't have a music teacher in the school. A non-profit program called Little Kids Rock has made this task much easier since 2007 when they donated guitars, drums and a keyboard to my classroom. Music teaches a lot! I retired in 2012, but am still active as a blogger and an author. My first book is titled, It Wasn't in the Lesson Plan-Easy Lessons Learned the Hard Way. It can be found on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. |
