Introduction Deep in my heart, I have always held the desire to be a mother and experience the connection and bond between mother and child. I always thought I'd become a mom the traditional route of falling in love, getting married and having children. When I turned 40, focused on my career, working to continue ascending the corporate ladder and there was no love or marriage in site, I began researching adoption and simultaneously re-directed my life priorities. Adoption was my first choice to create a family as a single woman and felt right. I am approved to adopt a foster child in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts but, I was matched with Bina before I was matched with a foster child. If a foster child is in our future, then I welcome that option to expand our family. For those who ask why adopt a child from another country please know I tried to adopt in America but...was never matched. As soon as Nepal granted me travel permission to come get Bina, I jumped on a plane in 5 days time...the soonest the travel agent could get me a ticket. Thank you for taking the time to read about us. Please pray for our speedy return to the United States of America.
