Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?
Spoons were actually the first utensil invented, after which came the knife and then the fork. So yes, forks are evolved from spoons. The way people invent new things is by finding a need that isn't met and innovating something to meet that need. In terms of kitchen utensils, people needed a better way to pick up food, other than scooping it, so they came up with the fork.
