Introduction A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... Nope, not from Tatooine but when I was younger I wrote for fun and very infrequently for money. Then the world got me, a family, bigger jobs, and it became clear I could make more money and maybe a bigger difference by thinking instead of writing. Thank you, novel coronavirus: you've given me another chance.
Favorite Movies Almost Famous, Die Hard, the Star Wars lexicon, virtually anything with a John Williams score (yes, Home Alone too!).
Favorite Music I used to think I like almost anything until my son became a musician. Now I can safely say: Less than him. Classic rock is safest, but everything from Broadway to (most) jazz to Katy Perry is in bounds.
Favorite Books Every Stephen King and John Sandford novel. Smart Cuts by Sean Snow.

Do you believe that forks are evolved from spoons?

No, quite the opposite, really. Think of it, the first cavemen needed utensils to eat their kill. During the lean seasons the womenfolk (sorry!) learned to make soup of the remains, to sustain them. Close your eyes, you can actually see them trying in vain to eat soup as it ran through the tines. Many a cave-wife died before the first one presented her dipshit husband with a hand-fashioned spoon.
