| Introduction | I am 47 years old, happily married, a mom to a 24 year old daughter, a 25 year old step-daughter, and a 7 year old Catahoula Leopard Dog named Boomer. I've been road running for several years. In 2006, I was lucky enough to reconnect with someone from my past, an avid trail runner, (Dirt Diva). Because of this, trail running has become my new passion. I completed my first ultra-marathon in September, 2008. Even though my favorite activity is trail running with Boomer, I have recently taken up swimming and cycling too. My first triathlon was completed in September, 2009. So far in 2011, I've completed two 100-mile bike rides along with one adventure race. What's next? We'll just have to see. |
