|Introduction||Bernadette Geyer is a freelance writer and editor. Her first full-length collection of poems, THE SCABBARD OF HER THROAT, was published in 2013 by The Word Works. Geyer is the author of the chapbook WHAT REMAINS (Argonne House Press), and recipient of a Strauss Fellowship from the Arts Council of Fairfax County.
Geyer's poetry has appeared in The Midwest Quarterly, North American Review, Oxford American, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. She has work forthcoming in the 2015 Poet's Market and Birmingham Poetry Review.
She has also written non-fiction for publications such as Go World Travel, Sustainable Development International, and WRITERS' Journal.
