|Introduction||Bernadette Geyer is a freelance writer, editor, and translator.
Geyer has contributed non-fiction articles to publications such as AFAR Magazine, GoNOMAD, Slow Travel Berlin, Funds for Writers, and WRITERS' Journal.
Her first full-length collection of poems, THE SCABBARD OF HER THROAT, was published in 2013 by The Word Works. Geyer is the author of the chapbook WHAT REMAINS (Argonne House Press), and recipient of a Strauss Fellowship from the Arts Council of Fairfax County.
Geyer's poetry has appeared in 2015 Poet's Market, North American Review, Oxford American, Poet Lore, Verse Daily, and elsewhere. Her translations of the poems of Ulrike Draesner appeared in Asymptote in 2015.
