When you've got water stuck in your ear, how do you get it out?
It's all about balance. You have to tilt your head so the ear with the offending water is facing the floor, and shake vigorously. Stubborn water may require bouncing up and down, or using the opposite hand to smack yourself on the head and rattle the water loose.
