| Introduction | ABOUT POPA Tanzanian Editorial cartoonist, Comic artist, Illustrator and Designer Popa Matumula ‘Kamtu’ has been in this field since in 1987 when his first work was published. His works have published in almost all leading papers in Tanzania and in a number of publications around the globe including Newsweek, New African, The Los Angeles Times and Le Monde. Also, at global level, his works have exhibited in various exhibitions around the world including Volkerkundemuseum Frankfurt (Germany), 2nd Pan African Cultural Festival (Algeria), 12th and 14th FESCARHY Festival (Cameroon), Malaga University (Spain), WPC (Portugal), London School of Economics-LSE (UK), VJ Movement (The Netherlands) and 13th RIDEP (France). |
