| Introduction | I LOVE movies! I am a huge movie geek! Now, I haven't seen every movie ever made, or even every blockbuster. In fact, there are lots of movies I haven't seen. This is mostly due to the fact that I also have a life... or something like one. I have a full time job, 3 kids, a husband who's a little like a kid, a great love of acting and a somewhat unhealthy addiction to World of Warcraft. Wow, too much information? But I do love watching movies! When I see a good movie, or TV show, I want desperately to talk about it! And most people I know in real life don't get beyond, "Wow, that car chase was epic!" or "So-and-so is my favorite actor because he's SOOO cute!" Sometimes I think these things too (even I have my shallow side), but my thoughts also tend to go a bit deeper. I only have 2 or 3 friends who really get my obsession with analyzing and picking apart movies... and I think they're sick of me. So here I am. I assume there have to be more people in the world like me, the chronic movie geek, and I’m on a world-wide-web search for them! Bring your inner (or outer) movie geekitude and join me in analyzing the best (and worst) the movie industry has to offer! |
