| Introduction | The word 'theophany' means a visible manifestation of the glory of God. This Austin-based group was formed through a mutual friend who envisioned a time of worship for high school students in the Austin, Texas area. With an eclectic-rock sound and a passionate heart for worship through music, Theophany has led worship for numerous youth and college events for the last 6 years. Theophany exists to glorify God by worshiping the Lord through song in such a way that stirs others to worship Him alongside us. We worship in view of the cross. We worship because of His mercy. We worship because it is becoming to Him. We worship simply because He is so worthy of it. We are passionate about worshiping the Lord with our lives first, so that our songs become the overflow of our hearts instead of meaningless words. Our desire is to be used by Him in order that He might sanctify His bride: the Church. We would love to partner with you in ministry in whatever way we can. We ask that you prayerfully consider using us to lead worship for your ministry or event. |
