| Introduction | My name is Tony I'm 39 years old. I have a loving wife, Sherry and three boys, Andrew 16, Alex 13, Aaron 8. Me and Sherry have been together almost 18 years. I have Advanced Small Cell Lung Cancer. I was diagnosed back in May of 2007 after going to the hospital for back pain. At that time the doctors gave me 9 months to live. Apparently I've had it for about a year prior to then and didn't know it. We have been through a LOT of ups and downs since then. I just finished brain radiation (Nov 13) to prevent brain cancer. That took 3 weeks of daily visits. I finished chemotherapy a couple months ago I'll update this when I start on my past journal entries with the correct dates. I don't know how long I have to live and I don't really want to know. It could be 3 months or 5 years, only God knows. I guess anyone could go at any moment. No one knows when their time is up, but it does suck knowing it's going to be sooner than later. |
