| Introduction | So, I'm an engineer. Living in Washington, DC. Actually, I've been here for about 10 years now, which makes me something of an old-timer. I've worked for a few different organizations, doing technical work of various sorts around town. The purpose of this blog stems from a New Year's Resolution, to stop thinking about doing things and actually start doing things. So, this will act as a kind of creative outlet for me. But for some reason, I don't feel compelled to advertise my name on this. Maybe it's because I try to keep a relatively low profile on the internet; maybe it stems from an underlying fear of failure. But mostly, I want to see if I can make a substantial presence on the internet just by being intelligent and thought provoking, rather than just promoting "Bob Smith's page on the internet." My name is not Bob Smith. That's just an example. So, here goes... |
