| Introduction | I have found my greatest joys and savored my most precious experiences among the simple things in life and those I get to share them with. The rough texture of my husband’s hand in mine, the look of contentment on my children's faces when they return home, the comfort of my parents’ voice. A song lyric that is the cry of my heart, the innocence and wonder of childhood, a furry head to pet. As a hopeless dreamer my soul swells at a glorious mountain view, the gentle lapping of the sea at sunset, shadows dancing across a starlit night and the yearning for unseen places that my soul has yet to discover. Books and real life adventures that carry me to far-away places and people is just a little bit of Heaven on earth. As an eager Jesus-follower, I’m constantly learning to be led by His ever faithful footsteps along this journey. Though I have sometimes missed those dusty footprints, just when I start to settle for something less than His best, He casts a light on those imprints that leads me straight to His heart and better plan. This life I live, the one I've been graciously given, is nothing glamorous and that’s exactly what makes it beautiful. |
