| Introduction | Bradley Knoefler is a resident and owner of 697 Lofts, a adaptive reuse of a 1920 warehouse located in Downtown Miami. He invested large sums in the neighborhood from 2001 to today based on the City of Miami's promise (and legally binding plan) to redevelop the neighborhood. Nearly 10 years later, upon seeing no change or intention to implement the Revelopment plan, despite tens of millions collected by the Community Redevelopment Agencies and the Downtown Development Authority, he decide to act. In 2009, he founded the OMNI/PARK WEST REDEVELOPMENT ASSOCIATION in order to raise awareness and foster discussion on reform of the various agencies and finally ensure Real Redevelopment of the most neglected parts of Downtown Miami. |
