Introduction	During my senior year of high school (oo-o1), I took part in a Regional Occupational Program geared toward teaching high school students a trade skill. They offer many different classes. I, of course, took the floral design class and loved it! The 1st semester I was in the classroom learning the trade and the 2nd semester I was doing an internship. I had a great teacher who saw potential in me and encouraged me to do my best. The class taught me valuable information to get me started! In 2005 I went to Seattle, WA to take part in a 40-hour Advanced Floral Design Course at the Floral Design Institute. It was an intense class that offered a great deal more training to further my career. I moved to Logan in 03 and started a job at Lee's Marketplace (Logan location) in their floral dept. I worked there for about 2 1/2 years until I was promoted to be the floral mgr in their newly remodeled Smithfield location (6 mi N). That promotion has been a great blessing. I am continually learning valuable skills in the field and have had so many great experiences and look forward to many more!
