Introduction	As a child, "yon" meant the branches of the tallest tree--or the roof of our apartment building-- much to my mother's dismay. As an adult, yon has been 35 countries and 48 states. No matter how far or how often I've traveled, home calls me back. Thus, hither's draw can be just as alluring as yon. There's the rub.
