Introduction	Sports Anchor News Hour and News Final Global TV Marty began his broadcasting career at Global Lethbridge in 2002 as a part-time reporter. Marty worked his way up through the station, eventually earning a full-time position. After a brief time in news, he became the station's Sports Reporter and Weekend Anchor. He then took over as the full-time Sports Anchor July 2004. Marty was born and raised in Lethbridge, an alumnus of Catholic Central High School and the University of Lethbridge. He graduated on the President's List from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology with a Communications: Television, Stage and Radio diploma in 2002. Marty Baceda Marty Baceda A sports fan from a young age, Marty parlayed that enthusiasm into a career. He feels the best part of his job is covering the Southern Alberta sports scene, heading to events at the arenas and fields he played on as a kid. Away from the desk Marty enjoys golf, basketball and playing music. He is involved in approximately 100 fantasy teams and various sports pools. He supports a variety of sports and charity events, where he often serves as master of ceremonies.
