| Introduction | It seems that the more I live with myself, the more difficult it is to define myself. And it's not entirely clear (even in my own head) what my motives are for this blog. I need to write in the same way I need to breathe. I also need to pray, to eat, to read, to run, to knit, to paint, to sing...there are so many things - creative and mundane - that are key to my survival. They are the things I do. As for what I am, perhaps we're all best defined by who we are to the people who matter most. I'm a daughter, sister, friend, teacher...most importantly, I'm a mother. My two kids are the air that I breathe, a sweet and fulfilling air which makes life about much more than just surviving. |
