| Introduction | Born in Chicago, raised on a farm in Coloma Michigan. I had a great childhood and my parents supported me and my music, even though it wasn't really their style. I have always enjoyed music and loved learning how to play instruments. Had dreams of playing in a rock band as a teen, but decided to join the Marine Corps after high school. I continued to play and write music while in the Marines, performing with bands throughout the years; the Sweater Kittenz, BoZko, Y25 and a couple others along the way. I have played in Japan, Iraq, Kuwait and in the US. I retired from the Marine Corps after 29 years of service and I finally took some of the music I have been working on over the years and recorded my first solo CD (thanks to my wife's encouragement). So if you get a chance, listen to my music and give me some feedback. My lyrics come from thoughts I jot down during the day, my feelings, and sometimes stories from people I come in contact with. The music usually starts with an idea and evolves from there. I love performing live! I am also a very active bicycle rider/racer, both road and mountain bikes. My wife and I participate in the MS 150 here in New Bern, NC. |
