Introduction | Whether it is reading and listening to music, taking photos, tending my herb garden or cooking…I enjoy my alone time. That being said, I cherish the time I spend with my family. Most family get-togethers revolve around food, laughter, and story telling. However, spending time with Collin, my wonderful grandson, are some of my most special moments! |
Interests | Reading, photography, gardening, watching movies, shopping and being with family and friends. I have very loyal, dear, and wonderful friends. We are each others foundation of support and faith. |
Favorite Movies | Two categories - Romantic comedies...from the original Sabrina to Four Christmases and Period Movies...from Pride & Prejudice...the PBS version...to Gosford Park |
Favorite Music | Nora Jones, Billie Holiday, Frank, Tony, and Dean just to name a few. |
Favorite Books | Recent books I have read were The Thirteenth Tale, A Rather Lovely Inheritance, and A Rather Curious Engagement. I just finished George Eliot's, Middlemarch, a long read but very good. Today I began Chaucer's, The Canterbury Tales and Jerry Ellis' Walking to Cantebury. Well, I have put Canterbury Tales away for summer and am looking for my next....shall we say...easy, entertaining read. |
Try making up the rules to a game where you tie knots in a yo-yo string just to see if you can get them out:
I don't really care to make up rules to a game, however, I really enjoy untangling knots. They are like little brainteasers...and even as a kid I have always helped others untie knots...shoelaces, necklaces, or fishing line..."I'll do it, I'll do it", I exclaimed!
