Introduction	I like things to be SIMPLE, yet extraordinary. This theme carries through my life. It is the main goal in much of what I do from my professional career as a salon owner, to the way I live my life through my creative endeavors. This fundamental view with an innovative twist embodies my personality and my vision for SIMPLE surroundings. I love finding new and "out of the ordinary" ways to alter everyday items and create interesting and useful pieces of art. This new art form has grown from a continued hobby of conventional scrapbooking and a sister who insisted I could make something wonderful even out of an old cigar box. From the first one I completed, more ideas flooded in, and thus......"Simply Altered" was established. Enjoy discovering the common items used in each original creation of mine.
