| Introduction | I find that I devote at least four hours a day daydreaming about being somewhere else, probably not an uncommon dilemma for the understimulated office worker. I've traveled plenty already and still enjoy a nice beach, but the way I'd prefer to travel now is not so much for the destination but for the journey. I've been trying to think of places more off the beaten path. I'd almost certainly be engaged in some ridiculous but wildly amusing activity like driving junk cars across Asia with my more likeminded and impulsive friends and colleagues. In short, there's probably a variety of good ideas lodged in my small adolescent brain just waiting to trickle out over a few beers. I'd wager there are so many in fact (I like beer a lot) that I've decided to actually write them down for later review. Using this blog I hope to do just that - chronicle all of the schemes that have already been or are yet to be cooked up, scrapped and abandoned, half-heartedly pursued or actually accomplished. Think riding motorcycles, cars, horses, camels and ostriches across all manner of difficult terrain with a focus on what most would consider "unconventional" methods bordering on the absurd. |
| Interests | Travel to far flung and distant places, exploration and adventure, pointless thrill-seeking expeditions, and incessant scheming all related to the former |
